Last Sunday we wrapped shooting on the prologue for “Dead Sucks”, a new horror/comedy feature I finished writing a few months back. The plan is to raise awareness with this short intro to the film and some additional financing as well. Running time should come in at about 5-7 minutes and it should also serve nicely as an initial trailer/show reel.
It was a pretty intensive 3-day shoot that included rain, rainbows, heat waves and more fun stuff. Cast and crew alike really gelled, and I can’t thank everyone enough for all their hard work and devotion. The footage (shot on HDV) turned out as good as I’d hoped for and often even better. Post has begun, and I’m looking forward to getting everyone’s reactions soon. Just added a little known BiFF flick by the name of “Fruit” to the Video section of the site. You’ll find it under the “shorts” category. Clocking in at about 3 min, this little oddity is probably the closest I’ve ever come to making an “art film”, so enjoy;-) This version features music by friend and collaborator Chvad SB of things outside the skin.
“Fruit” was shot one day in 1998 with the help and support of Kevin Flora and Ryan Johnston, and yes the naked painted guy pictured above is me;-)

In other news, yesterday a few of us took a drive around parts of northern NJ looking for possible locations, and I’m glad to say we found some promising spots for this and future productions.

So as I busy myself working to get several new projects off the ground ranging from vampires to serial killers to just the generally twisted and deranged, this is what happens…
Ok, first off let me clarify. This is an x-ray of my left hand. The yellow encircled section is where I broke it by fracturing my 5th metacarpel.
